The story behind the work

Vital Soma was born from a simple truth: healing happens when we return to the body.

After years of living in survival mode — navigating chronic health challenges, dysregulation, and grief — I began to see how deeply the nervous system shapes every part of our experience. My own journey of healing wasn’t about fixing myself, but about learning to listen: to the language of my body, to the signals beneath my symptoms, and to the quiet wisdom that was always there.

Through that process, I discovered what I now help others find — a way back home.

Meet Megan

My work weaves together the science of the nervous system with the art of embodiment and mindful living. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Holistic Health, am a certified Integrative Health Coach, and a certified Somatic Healing Practitioner — but beyond any certification, my approach is rooted in lived experience and compassionate presence.

I’ve walked through my own seasons of imbalance — navigating a dysregulated nervous system, healing from chronic gut issues and mold toxicity, and moving through the deep grief that came after my brother passed away. Each of these experiences became a teacher, showing me what it truly means to be alive — the courage it takes to listen, the patience it requires to soften, and the presence it demands to live authentically.

I understand what it feels like to live in a body that doesn’t feel like your own — and what it takes to rebuild safety, regulation, and connection from the inside out. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk beside you as a mirror and guide — helping you reconnect with your body’s innate capacity for healing and vitality.
